10 Benefits of Daily Bible Reading

"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12  (NIV)

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"

2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV)

The Bible is God's Gift to Us
Reading your Bible is KEY to finding and experiencing the Love, Joy, Peace and Happiness that Jesus died for on the cross,
once and for all.

Peace

There are reasons why people are always telling others to read your Bible. It's because the word of God will bring us immeasurable Peace, the Peace

which passeth ALL understanding.

"And the peace of God, which passeth

all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds* through Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:7(KJV)

Renewed Mind

The more you read the Bible and ask God to take his word from our heads to our hearts, then our mind will be transformed more, into the likeness of Jesus.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Romans 12:2 (KJV)

Hope

This is one promise God gives us,  that we have and we can keep, and that is  Hope. God has plans to give you hope (Jeremiah 29:11)

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,"

Hebrews 6:19

God is Revealed

Learn and See who God is, his immeasurable Love, his goodness and mercy, his character.

4 "But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior."

Titus 3:4-6

A  Mirror into Our Situation

In the mirror of God's Word, we can see and God shows us where we need to change—and we allow God to re-align our hearts with His.

"Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like"

James 1:23-24 (ESV)

Teaching & Guidance

As a Master guides his scholar, with as much care and tenderness , as you are the "apple of his eye".

"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth."

John 16:13

"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."

Psalm 32:8 (KJV)

Faith

The Word of God produces Faith; reading the Bible, listening to the words of God in a sermon, or writing out the scriptures all will give you Faith.

"So then Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God."

Romans 10:17 (KJV)

Principles of Truth

When reading the Bible, "Principles of truth" can be extracted out.  These are truths that are applicable to all people,  in all periods of time, in all circumstances.

Example Scripture:

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

Joshua 1:8

Relationship with God

God longs to walk with you and talk with you and have a close and personal relationship with you. As you read the Bible more and more, you become closer with him, in an intimate relationship with him, built on love, trust and respect for our Father, our creator.

"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing"

John 15:5

A Best Friend

A friend that sticks by you closer than a brother, he is Jesus Christ. He is our Lord and Savior and will be your best friend when you accept him into your heart.

A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 18:24

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
   be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 19:14

2 Timothy 3:16-17

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
