the Word of God

"Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” Mark 7:13 (NIV) "Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye." Mark 7:13 (KJV) You have to get rid of traditions and doctrines that negate the Word of God. Jesus talks about people who say a prayer that is filled with vain repetitions and much speaking. That is not a prayer, that violates everything Jesus teaches. Prayer is communication from your heart to God's heart, and it's not just a one-way convo. You also need to listen and let God minister unto you. Prayer isn't a religous calisthenic. Reading the word of God, daily, will renew your mind, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2 We have the mind of Christ! 1 Corinthians 2:16 God Bless you!
