God is wonderful, our counselor, our prince of peace. "Isaiah 9:6-7; "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end." God encourages us on a daily basis.
There are several ways our Dear Lord encourages us. The first way is through his holy word, by diving into the Bible as mentioned in the previous post. The Bible is alive and active, doing a work in us, revealing things to us, through the illumination of the text by the Holy Spirit. All scripture is breathed out by God; "2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." The word of God will not return to you empty and it will not fail.
"Isaiah 55:10-11; "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earthand making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
The second way God encourages us is through music. The best way for this to occur is by worship music either in a church, fellowshiping with others, where you will be blessed, inspired encouraged and uplifted, there's christian music played by you, or listened to on your favorite device. Sirius XM has wonderful christian music stations that will also bless your soul, inspire you and encourage you 24/7.
The third and one of the most crucial and important ways God encourages us is through prayer. Prayer moves mountains. A close relationship is achieved with God through our prayers, prayer comforts us. Prayer change things. There are numerous stories of prayer changing things in the Bible. One is the story of Hannah and Peninnah found in 1 Samuel 1: 1-28. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had none. Verse 6 Because the Lord had closed Hannah’s womb, her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her. Verse 7 This went on year after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house of the Lord, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat. But Hannah prayed, poured out her soul to the Lord, and her prayers changed everything. Verse 26 and she said to him, “Pardon me, my lord. As surely as you live, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord. Verse 27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.
My prayer is, may you see, feel, hear and experience all the ways God encourages us throughout our daily lives. You will never be the same. Your life will be thoroughly changed for the better and your walk with God will become all the more satisfying and enriching to you. God Bless you.
