Our Praises to God break chains, take down strongholds, and give us Victory. "Paul and Silas sang hymns and prayed in prison, and an earthquake broke their chains" (Acts 16:25) Chains can represent many things in your life; fear, anxiety, doubt. If you need a breakthrough in your life, start praising the Lord! "I dare you to praise Him in the midnight hour, before anything changes in what you see around you, when it is the hardest. Watch Him break the chains that keep us imprisoned in hopelessness. Because when the praises go up the blessings come down; God inhabits our praises (Psalm 22:3) When you immerse yourself in the presence of God through Praise, before long, the presence of God is in you! Paul says, "Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again, Rejoice!" (Philiipians 4:4) And further down in the chapter, in verse 9, Paul says, "Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." The Peace of God will be with you when you put into practice these things Paul has said! Isn't that encouraging? Thank you God for your word! Praise be to you God, "The Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever" (Psalm 146:6)
